Marja is a single mother who works nights and spends days taking care of her daughter Julia. One day they meet Julia’s father, a Kurdish immigrant and Marja’s old flame. As Julia realises who the strange man is, she turns more and more possessive. As racism grows amongst her colleagues, Marja gets an illegal gun.
